Second Hand Clubs

As many of our members are aware we have a selection of second hand golf clubs available for sale and from time to time we shall provide a full list of clubs.

As at 21/08/2011 we have the following;

1. Cleveland HiBore 3 wood. 15 deg stiff Fujikura shaft £35
2. Callaway 'X' series rescue clubs. 21 and 24 degree. Regular graphite shafts. £50 each.
3. TaylorMade R9 15 degree 3 wood. Regular graphite shaft. £95.
4. Ladies Callaway Big Bertha 5 wood. £75.

Hi all and welcome to our first blog here in the Pro Shop.

Through our ramblings we aim to keep you up to date with all the news relevant to the Pro Shop with information on the latest stock, swing tips, playing results and anything else that may be interesting and informative.

For those that are not aware, Ross has left us here in the Pro Shop to join his family business. The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Ross for his service to the club and wish him the very best for the future.

Moving forward we have secured the services of Andy Myers. Prior to Northampton, he was employed by the Celtic Manor Resort where he worked for the Golf Operations team during the Ryder Cup and two Wales Opens. He has also recently graduated from Bournemouth University and whilst at Bournemouth was selected to represent both the English and British universities teams. Andy will turn professional at the earliest possible opportunity to assist Nick in the development of both junior and club golfers alike. Before turning pro, Andy intends to play as many events at the club as possible and looks forward to getting to know everyone.

Next week will see Nick competing for the Midland Professionals Championship at Belton Woods. This makes up a busy end of season schedule for Nick as he aims to find some form before the Tour Championships at Cold Ashby. We intend to keep you updated with scores so watch this space.

Over the past few weeks we have also seen some new arrivals to the shop stock including a new Lyle and Scott collection. This will compliment our ever-popular club range so please feel to free to see what we have to offer!
